Sue Barthelow is a freelance photographer from the foothills of California's Sierra Nevada Mountains living near the community of Auburn.  She specializes in abstract, landscape, and travel photography.

Sue's love of photography began when her grandfather gave her a camera for her 10th birthday.   From that day on, most of her allowance went to film and processing.  Sue has always been a visual person who views the world around her with a photographer's eye, a skill probably developed from her early love of scenic jigsaw puzzles.

Whether traveling, hiking or wandering city streets, she's always on the lookout for something new to shoot.
